As a family photographer, I don’t get to photograph family and friends as often as I’d like. So when this beautiful mum (who’s also a friend) asked me to take her family photos, I jumped at the chance.

We’ve been planning to do this portrait photo shoot session for a while now. I’m so glad we finally booked this session and for the chance to photograph a close friend.

Being an on-location photographer means that I spend a lot of time trying to find new locations to shoot but find that I keep returning to my old favourites. Central Park in Dagenham is one of my favourite parks at the moment.

As you may have guessed, we had an outdoor family portrait session at Central Park. Central Park is quite a large and busy park and luckily, we found a quiet spot for the  shoot.

I had the most amazing time photographing the O family.  The family traveled from Grays, West Thurrock (Essex) to Dagenham for the photo shoot. Mr O couldn’t join us for the shoot and hopefully, we’ll be able to plan a shoot for the entire O family very soon.

The children really got into the swing of things and started posing for me from the onset. You’d have thought we were preparing to audition for Britain’s Next Top Model. These kids are little posers and they love the camera.

All three children were such a joy to photograph.  I’ve known sweet ‘S’ (in the green t-shirt)  her since she was a baby and it’s amazing to see her growing into a beautiful and confident young lady. This girl is so smart beyond her eight years.
