Essex baby, child and family photographer casting call
I am currently casting mums-to-be, newborns, babies, children and families for documentary style photo shoots in London and across Essex.
Casting calls are very different to regular photo shoots. They are more or less hands-on learning opportunities.
With casting calls, I will be looking to capture a specific look or a certain pose. Or I may be looking to work with light in different ways.
- Images from the casting calls will be used for my portfolio so you must be willing to sign a model release to take part.
- If you are accepted, you will get a free photo shoot plus three high res digital images for FREE with a print release and a gift certificate towards your next session. The rest of the edited images from the session can be purchased at a discounted rate (although there is no obligation to purchase any images).
- The lifestyle photo shoot will be done in your home so please make sure your home has at least one room with good natural light. The session can also be done at your friend’s home or the home of a relative who can provide a room with good natural light.
- The session will be geared towards trying out specific lifestyle or lighting techniques. This means some sessions will result in many images while some sessions will only have a handful of images.
- I will come to you for this session, so you must live within five miles of Dagenham (RM10) or be willing to pay travel fees.
I’m currently looking for:
- Three newborns, aged 5 – 10 days old. Session must take place before 10 Dec 2012.
- Two mums with newborns aged 2 weeks to 4 weeks old. Session must take place before 31 Dec 2012.
- Three mums-to-be, about 34 – 36 weeks along in pregnancy. Sessions must take place before 10 Jan 2013.
- Two babies aged between six to nine months old. Sessions must take place before 31 Dec 2012.
- One mum and dad with twin girls or twin boys aged between 5-10 years old. Sessions must take place before 10 Jan 2013.
- One mum and dad with girls aged between 4 – 8 years old. Sessions must take place before 10 Jan 2013.
- One mum and dad with boys aged between 6 – 10 years old. Sessions must take place before 10 Jan 2013.
Please note: children must be relaxed and happy to be photographed.
