I met up with the ‘D’ family at a London park about two weeks ago for a mother and daughter photo shoot. It was a very, very cold day and I had been worried that it would rain.

Thankfully it didn’t rain.

I love bold colours so I was very happy when mum and daughter turned up for the family photography session in what they were wearing. I love it when colours compliment each other. Along with composition and exposure, colours and clothing can make a whole world of a difference in photographs.

Mum was really nervous about the photo shoot at the beginning but by the end of the photo shoot, she was so relaxed and was really into it. You could have sworn she was a professional model.

This was such a fun photo shoot with lots of laughter, silliness and giggles. And the lovely yellow and orange autumn colours just really make the photos pop.
