Glamour photoshoot Essex

This is my sweet friend Anna, also a photographer. Last year we photographed each other in Anna’s studio. It can be a little nerve wracking photographing another photographer and when that photographer also happens to be a good friend, then it can be a mixed bag of emotions.

Plus there is also the fact that I don’t do studio work. I’m drawn mostly to lifestyle photography, either at home or outdoors so being in a contrived space was definitely out of my comfort zone.

Working in an environment I wasn’t really used to was an eye opener for me. It reminded me of how you should always step out of your comfort zone even if it seems a little scary or uncomfortable. Stepping out of your comfort zone means that you’re not stagnant. It means you’re growing and progressing which can only be a good thing.

And to my sweet friend Anna; thank you for stepping on the other side of the camera for a change and being my model. Thank you for allowing me to capture the essence of your beauty which radiates from the inside. You are beautiful, both inside and out.
