Expect the unexpected. That’s what I should have told myself as I left my home for an outdoor family photo shoot a few weeks ago. I was expecting lovely weather. I had kept an eye on the weather report for days and was convinced the elements would work in our favour.

It didn’t. It was quite windy and the session was fun but at times it got a tad cold. This meant our shooting time was shorter than it would have been.

When you’re shooting outdoors, you are at the mercy of the weather. But despite it being windy, I think we rocked the session, don’t you?

The ‘I’ family are a beautiful family and they were so much fun to be around. It was a pleasure spending time with them for their professional family photos.

The shoot took place at a park near Romford. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute photographing this lovely family. Baby ‘J’ was so adorable and he has an infectious laughter.

One of my favourite images from the shoot is actually an outtake. Just as we wrapped up the shoot, I was packing up and turned around to see dad doing a video recording of his son laughing uncontrollably. I just had to quickly snap the moment.
