Oh sweet baby boy with beautiful eyes, chubby cheeks and absolutely perfect brows. How lovely it was to meet you and photograph you. I have been eagerly waiting to hear news of your arrival since your mum booked your newborn shoot and I am so glad I got to meet you.

You are perfect in every way; those tiny baby fingers and toes, absolutely soft and beautiful newborn skin, gorgeous brown eyes, tiny baby nose. You are like a little breathing doll. Oh you are pure perfection. You have filled the hearts of your parents with such unspeakable joy and even this newborn photographer was totally smitten with you.

Less than 10 days old but already very determined. I admire your gentle determination. You refused to be swayed by our many ploys to entice you with sleep. You refused sleep and you kept your eyes wide open. You fixed your eyes on your mama and you followed her every step. You didn’t want to let her out of your sight. You are so fascinated with your new parents and this new world you have entered and you didn’t want to miss any of the action.

I am glad you stayed awake. I am glad you looked right at the camera as I leaned closer to get a shot of you. I am glad I got to photograph your lovely eyes. I am glad you are here. Welcome to the world sweet baby.
