Do you remember when you were sixteen? I do. I remember I couldn’t wait to be sixteen. So many dreams, so many possibilities. Being sixteen is such an important milestone. Which is why I love sweet sixteen photography sessions.

Suzanne and her mum traveled all the way from Brighton for this teen photo shoot in London. Such a long way to travel and before we met up, it had started to rain so I was a bit nervous we might not get to do the shoot. Luckily the rain stopped and a little bit of sunshine showed up. Though not for long, as the weather quickly turned from sunny to cloudy.

This was a memorable shoot for me because it was so down-to-earth and so much fun. Suzanne was  a sport and was very easy to work with. I liked that she was open to try new ideas and she also had her own ideas.

Teen photo shoots are one of my favourite sessions to shoot because the teens are obviously older than little kids and I like that I can tell them how to pose, where to stand etc and they just listen. I also like it when they bring their own ideas to the photo shoot and totally make the session their own.
