I love photographing newborn babies. I especially love capturing the connection between a parent and their newborn baby. Here are some photos from a newborn session in Dagenham, Essex.
Baby Aylin, who I blogged about a few days ago, was just seven days old at the time of the session. There is just something special about a brand new baby and those early days of life.
This particular session was shot at their home in Dagenham, Essex. I had been hoping baby Aylin would fall asleep so I could try a variety of styles but bless her, she was wide awake pretty much throughout the session.
I am glad she was because I was able to capture some lovely shots with her parents.
My newborn photo shoots takes place in the comfort of your own home using 100% natural light. I photograph newborns, babies, children and their families from a lifestyle perspective.
I processed these images in both black and white and colour. For some reason, I preferred the black and white portraits better.
