I finally plucked up the courage and entered the Guild of Photographers’ monthly award. I am so pleased I did because I’ve just been awarded three bronze bars in this month’s competition. I am beyond excited. I guess I can now call myself an ‘award winning child photographer’.
The Guild of Photographers is a highly regarded national body of professional photographers. Each month, hundreds and hundreds of photographers enter images into the Guild’s monthly competition in hopes of winning one of the coveted awards. As well as being fun to enter, the competition is a great benchmark as it allows photographers to gauge their progress, note areas for improvement and develop their skills. Personally, I love how this competition is really changing the way I shoot and pushing me to produce my best.
Here are the award-winning images.
